POSTCARD FROM AFRICA-- October 2024
This month our North West Impact Center donated 1,200 seedlings to a community center in Ramatlabama Village. The Tsholanang Community Center is a predominantly women led initiative. They have helped over 100 members of their village, many of whom are elderly with little income, establish home gardens.
Mrs Christina Mothupi came to the Impact Center and asked for help after she received
information about the work that we do through one of our Network pastors. We are always blessed when we can help those who are already helping others - a network of good that expands and increases.
The training the community will receive, and the donated seedlings, will make a huge difference in the lives of the elderly of this village. They will be able to harvest and have food from their gardens in the months to come and the skill of small-scale agriculture will give them a sustainable source of food for the future.
Our Impact Center in the North West continues to touch the lives of the vulnerable in many ways, for which we give you thanks. It is the generosity and support of you, our Orchard community that makes this possible.
